I had two yesterday - it's not THAT unusual as I can be a bit dim at times, but I'll share these with you.

First one was that the kittens aren't kittens any more. Harry was lying on my lap and when I looked closely at him it was clear that he's left kittenhood behind. His shape has matured but there's also something in his eyes and his behaviour that's changed. Bertie is not quite there, but they're all growed up now.

The second one was that this is home now. I live here, at Dalmore. Longcarse is no longer my home - I'm not on holiday here. That was a bigger moment than the kittens. I've lived in Clackmannanshire for 48 years, give or take a couple, and it's kind of weird. But nice!

Rosemary, It's nice that you now consider Angus your home. I'm not from Angus originally but I love it so much here, and I know many people from other places who come to Angus for a bit and then fall in love with the place and never want to leave. I hope you still love it as much next year.

As for Harry, sounds like he might be needing a wee visit to the vets shortly! LOL!

Thanks, Maura. Harry's already been to the vet long since.

Angus has a different pace of life from the Central Belt. It's kind of old fashioned and I mean that in a positive way. There are even clippies on the buses and the Co-op does home deliveries (in Carnoustie at least).

home is where you cat is, see you mustn't have felt at home till they all moved there too.
