Fruit
We find fruit to be one of the most satisfying products of our smallholding. You don't need acres of space to grow a few strawberries, so almost every garden or even balcony can produce succulent, tasty fruit, of varieties selected for flavour not shelf-life.
At Dalmore we're establishing a soft fruit garden, and have plans to plant a one acre apple orchard. We're also going to put a few plum and pear trees into our vegetable garden.
In this section you'll find guides to those things we're experienced with, and a running commentary of our orchard planning and the inevitable trials and tribulations.
