I took Smokey out for a hack today. So what? Well, I lost my nerve riding a while back. Since we moved here, I've started to think about it more and more, without feeling scared. So today, Smokey and I went out with Rbecca and Sheba.

The flags were down, so we went down on to Barry Buddon. We were out for an hour, just walking, but it was a start. Smokey was great, really great. I hope this is a new stage in our relationship.

well done with your hack, i bet you felt very proud of both of you when you got back, im proud of you, i have lost my confidence riding, so i know how difficult it is, i have yet to find the courage you have found. Enjoy

I felt so pathetic, not riding him, and could come up with lots of excuses. We're not out of the woods yet, but hopefully we'll continue to progress. I hope you manage to get back in the saddle too.

i think about riding everyday, just tacking up and just have a 10 min hack, then my 1 million excuses kick in, its my goal to conquer it, just dont know how yet, but one day hopefully i will.
