Jings, where did THAT week go?

Dan started lifting and drying the tatties, so the “tattie board” came into play.

“Someone”, almost definitely feline, has inadvertently reduced my crop of wallflower.

It’s starting to feel like autumn. We’re getting a lot of leaf drop, maybe due to the dry weather; it’s cool in the mornings now and the light has changed. I think autumn is probably my favourite season. Well, it is for now.

Thursday, I washed all the vet bed and took some to the Studio, so Bryn found a new spot.

Saturday, we got into the garden. I was weeding (as usual) and Dan cut the grass and strimmed the edges. What a difference. Dan finished lifting the tatties. Looks like a good crop of large potatoes.

Calum and Sandra are here for the weekend, so we ate at The Milton Inn. Very good, as usual.

Sunday, Andy was here and an extension to the hens’ winter accommodation is being planned.
