Hatching eggs wanted - Brecon Beacons
« on: August 21, 2012, 04:01:43 pm »
Hi all
I have just bought my girlfriend a new incubator as our last one was borrowed and have promised to get eggs of her choice. I'm now struggling!
She wants:
Frizzle
Brahma
Silkie (golden or blue preferably)
Cochin
other 'interesting' breeds
Are there any local small holders who keep any of the above? they don't have to be pure-bred, she just wants some interesting birds as we have 'too many boring brown ones'!
I know that fertility drops off a little this time of year but the incubator will take 50 eggs so if we fill it up we'll accept the lower hatch rate.
Thanks for any help!!
