Second crop of Broad beans.
« on: September 16, 2011, 09:32:50 pm »
We had a really good heavy Crop of broad beans earlier on in the year and once the beans appeared to have finished several weeks ago I cut the tops down as advised to about a foot leaving the roots in the ground to set nitrogen into the soil. The beans then shot up and flowered again and have provided us with another good crop. Not as good as the first crop but certainly a decent crop. Is this usual? :cucumber: :-X :cucumber: :cucumber: :cucumber: :cucumber: :cucumber: :cucumber: :cucumber: :cucumber:
