My pumpkins (well the children's pumpkins...) are still green. should I be panicking?! are they actually melons? oops

Never been comitted enough to grow things but, water and feed thats all you need so whatever you get is OK!!

My one and only pumpkin is still green, although starting to get a bit streaky. TBH I have not fed it or anything, just left it to get on with it.
