why doesnt he stand up to them
« on: March 20, 2010, 03:40:23 pm »
our ladies are at times pecking eddies (cockerel) wattles,
does anyone elses chucks do this?
is it a bonding type thing going on or is he at the bottom of the pecking order!
i just think since he is the man around the place he should be telling them to get lost.
mmmm love to hear your replys on this one ;) :chook:

our hens peck at our cockbirds wattles, but never draw blood, he just stands their with his held high.... i think it must be a chicken thing, cos he is top of the pecking order
