Turning eggs
« on: July 25, 2010, 10:05:58 pm »
I very stupidly forgot to write down when the eggs went in the incubator,i can work it out to a choice of 2 days, its coming up to day 18 and i really dont know between the 2 days when they went in  so is it better to turn an extra day or leave an extra day if that makes sence.
Thanks.

I would leave them an extra day, or at least 12 to 18 hours extra if it's possible. I find that a lot of mine only hatch on day 22 or even 23, especially as they will have been in fridge for a few days before starting in incubator, so might be a bit slow to start anyway (but will always be at RT before putting into warm incubator).
