Anyone tried to move on a temporary mark. I've looked for somewhere to enter "blue spot between shoulders" or similar, but system keeps asking for slap mark no.  ???
Just type it in

I tried that but it wouldn't let me. I'll have another go, as I have some weaners due to leave soon.

This is one of the many queries that I currently have waiting a response from BPEX.  For the moment if you click the temporary mark, and then in the box that says "other reference" type in "blue spot on shoulder" or whatever, this appears on the top of the form, and this will make you legal.  When BPEX have responded hopefully there will be a box, and it will appera on the correct part of the form.

Excellent, thank you Oaklands.  I did think I may have to resort to handwriting it on the haulers sheet.  ::)

I've started e-mailing the buyers before they come asking for their info and asking if they're registered on the eaml www to make sure they've definitely done it before they arrive.

One issue we've had this last week is someone who was given two different CPH numbers as the first was linked to the incorrect grid refs.  They got a second set on the 15th March, but the system wouldn't recognise this set when we tried to fill in the form!  We called the team and it turned out we had to use the original number - everyone was really rather confused by it all!

I'm sure it'll get better!

We have two entries on the database, one for BPA and one from the BPEX site.  Seems some moves go to one, and some to the other - have not worked out why  Both are however the same holding and herdmark.  Very confusing.

Smarshall, like you we have now developed an email to send to potential customers so that we can be happy that they have registered before they come.  Not always possible with people wanting to view weaners, but helps in some cases.
