Wanted: Horse Manure - West Fife

Hi folks,

Does anyone have, or know a good source of, well rotted horse manure in the West Fife area?

Free would be good but happy to pay/donate. Can uplift pre-bagged or provide our own bags. Ideally, somebody that could deliver a trailer-load to the allotment would be our first choice but don't mind getting our hands dirty  :)

Cheers.

Hi Kev,

We have an abundance of rotting horse manure, we may be too far for you as we are in Tealing just north of Dundee.  You would be welcome to as much as you require -  just let us know if you are interested.
Kind regards Tina

If you wanted to come and bag it and transport it yourself you could go nuts in my field if you like? Falkirk area.

I've loads but the heaps are mostly in the paddock and the access is way too deep/wet yet to get in there, but if you're still looking in a couple months I'm near Newburgh/Cupar and might be able to share a JCB to get yours and mine out to somewhere more accessible ;)

Hi folks. Many thanks for the kind offers. I suspect distance and lack of a trailer will be the decider. We've got a decent sized 4x4 but I doubt my Mrs would take kindly to the thought of a long(ish) journey with a pile of horse poop in the back :)

We're in Lochgelly btw. Oh and we thought we had a source at a nearby farm but, when we went for a look, it had all been nicked :)

Thanks again.
