Title: Orphan Lambs - N Dorset/Somerset borders
Post by: TheCaptain on April 14, 2013, 06:57:07 am
Picked up 5 beautiful little ewe lambs (Texel x mules) from one of the bigger flocks around here (over 2000 ewes). Sam is an excellent shepherd and has plenty of 'orphans' as he removes the stronger triplet/2x quads to leave two on mum. All of his lambs stay with mum for first couple of days, and he's only asking around 20 per lamb.

PM me if you want his number.

And I've realised that, if I keep my 5 little lambies, I've just increaed my breeding flock by a third  :D
