I should think the sheep will love it, but depends what else they've got to eat.
Glyn's texels ate quite a bit of last years hedge brashings before I could shut them out from it.

I haven't got around to dragging some down for the sheep yet, the goats mob me for it and the wood dries quicker for the fire without it's bark.
