Can anyone tell me what size height and thickness wooden post is most suitable for 48 inch high 12g galvanised wire stock fencing?

Many thanks!

are you running top and bottow wires?

Have you thought about strainers for the corners?

For 4ft as a rule you want 6ft posts for intermediates 3 inch diameter rounds or 3 inch square depends on your preference, for strainers 8inch diameter 8ft long post!

Your fencing supplier should be able to advise you!
