Hello From Kent..
« on: April 12, 2009, 10:31:58 pm »
I came across this forum whilst doing some research on chickens so thought i'd best join and get some advice ...I was brought up on a smallholding many years ago...it was always my parents dream to have a few animals etc.....but now 20 years on from leaving the comfort of the country i am still nowhere closer to my own dream of returning to a rural location so have decided to do what i can with the space i have available....i've recently erected a greenhouse ....in the process of preparing some raised veg areas....and am now looking into maybe a few chickens but will take that to the  :chook: section2 for more advice...

Hi and welcome.  I started growing veggies in pots might go back to that idea, at least I can control the weeds that way.
