home brew boom

iv made 3 lots of cider in demijons 2 have exploded is the remaning one safe all were made the same dont know why the bang but pulled glass an inch out of the wall so let me know asap?

Do you have air lock tops on them? If not then the remaining one is NOT safe

You must have a method for letting the accumulated gas from the fermentation escape.

Racking off from bin to demi-john will reactivate the yeast to some extent and you will get some additional fermentation even if the cider seems to have stopped fermenting in the buckets.

if you dont have an airlock, use a balloon over the top!

all have air locks thats why i cant figure out why 2 exploded

Definitely something suspect with your air locks. Were they bubbling before they went bang?

i wasnt watching at the time of the bang but they were working the day before lucky realy lol
