Worming paste?
« on: March 03, 2015, 02:55:00 pm »
Hiya all
I'm worming my donkeys this week with Strongid P (pyrantel embonate) and of course their will be some left over in each tube because they won't take the whole syringe dose. I've seen that goats can have it so just want to check for dosage. Dosing for a wether AN and a doe AN. Should I treat for weight as a foal and dose like I'm dosing a foal?

Where did you see that it was suitable for goats? Donkeys and goats do not normally share the kind of worms... if in doubt your vet would advise, and also do your goats actually need worming?
