Killer kittens

It's been such a long time since I've posted anything! To be honest, at this time of year there's not much going on - apart from trying to keep warm and dry.

Harry and Bertie have cotinued to grow and develop. They regularly bring their prey in and generally alert us to this by growling at each other. Once growling s detected, one of us leaps out of bed and shuts the bedroom door. It's bad enough that we let them sleep with us, but I can't fancy sharing with dead mice.

They are really lovely cats (IMHO) - very elegant, slim and they have incredibly long tails. Felix is a wee cobby cat. The three of them get on fine - they eat together and Felix plays with them at bit. And he grooms them too. It's not reciprocated, so he still demands his brush in the morning. As I type, he's sitting on the router on the desk - it's warming his bum.

First snow

Not down here, but there is a dusting of snow on the Ochils this morning. I'm not surprised - it's pretty cold and very windy. However, at least it's dry and the wind is drying up he ground fine.

We're having one of our Hubbards roast to day, so off to pull some carrots, swede and parsnips for roasting. And apple sponge, I think, to follow.
