turning out bottle lambs
« on: April 14, 2015, 07:31:45 pm »
Got a pair of bottle lambs that are around 6 weeks. Eating creep like no tomorrow and now on two bottles a day. Can I turn them out and gradually wean or do they need to be weaned first?  Worried about bloat!

Thanks

They should be fine if you turn them out, keeping them on the creep and perhaps cutting down the bottle gradually to wean them  :)

Are they drinking water well, watch that they're not gorging on the creep and build up turnout sorry if I'm stating the obvious
