That set me off, I wrote a wonderful story and my teacher wrote on the bottom (not my bottom) Never read anything so good from a student!!! I then went on to write and nearly had something published but did not pursue it!!!

Sorry Sandy I wasn't lookin what I was doing all the boys liked Ratty It was a Johnny Morris program if I'm remembering right.Don't forget my sons are from the 60's. We often went to Elsham Hall where there is a large pond Its not a real lake its only 3 foot deep but over a large area There is all sorts in it You could go out on a landing stage and feed the carp they would come and suck food from your fingers The water rats (Voles ) lived there as did all sorts of other fish. Great in them days. Its all commercialised now

Johnny Morrison, the zoo keeper type programme with a monkey as a sidekick. Forgot about that programme :D Does any one remember Gordon Honeycombe the news reader. When he finished the saturday teatime news he said "And now Tarzan"

Hello you lasses Yes now is it me or is it general Modern day narrators Simon King Kate Humble Bill Oddie even Michaela Do not hold my attention like Johnny Morris or David Attenborough could.I am in no way running Simon down he is probably one of our most knowledgeable naturalists  at this time.He did a program on an Isle of the coast of Scotland and quite honestly I had seen the whole program in the first 10 minutes.Take Kate and Bill in last years Spring watch I was Pee'd off with the shot sequences of the gate and the deck chair.I'm no a jealous chap at all but I often wish I had the energy of Michaela But Alas  for me the programs are not as good I cannot put my finger on why!? :o ::) :D :farmer:

David At tenborough has a calm and soft voice so making you fell calm while watching. We pick up on peoples energy and some people can drain you by their shear exuberance (blimey, thats a big work for me!!!). Micheal Palin  is another soft, calm person....We need vibrant people on shows that want to get us excited or enthused..... :o
