Freezing my joints!  Playing about in the cold with sheep hurdles/fencing/hayracks and checking the boundary fences to try and find out where the ram escaped from the field.  Conclusion is he jumped.  Daft sod went away from the ewes and not towards them.

Staying indoors and doing some crochet. At least four inches of snow out there and I'm unsteady on my feet on unslippery surfaces.

Staying in bed , difficult to walk on the snow and it's too cold, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Another day of being indoors, looking out of the window at the ever-deepening snow and shuddering.

Feeling shattered and sore. Worked a very long day yesterday and was working till 1am this morn lol. Going to feed sheep a bit later, snow is melting now, so not too bad :) Just trying to find a clever way of carting hay to the sheep, so far 2 feed bags on string wrapped over one shoulder seems best way so far, although heavy  ::) going to grit front of the parlour again, so no buffaloes will slip :) Have a good one guys!  :thumbsup:

Today I fed the goats for the first time in nearly a week. The ground has been too slippery for me to go out so poor OH, who doesn't even want the goats, has had to do all the feeds.

WBF a dumpy bag would make moving feed over snow easier. :)

Been “helping” Mrs RTB with the last of the bacon curing by keeping well out of the way and carrying stuff to and from the chillier.
We have some curing salts left over see;
