The tanker drivers are not even on strike yet, and here we are, in chaos. We desperately need some fuel, but living where we do, garages are not that plentiful. Someone queued at our local Tesco for 5 hours last night, and that was at midnight .....and he still had no luck getting fuel. The next garages are 4 miles in the opposite directions, and of course, everyone is rushing there, so the queues are horrendous.
We do not have the time to sit 5 hours in a fuel queue, but may have to unless something mircaculous happens, like another garage opens up with lots of fuel.
If everyone just took their usual amount of fuel there would be plenty for everyone
