Internal parasites
Like most animals, sheep can carry a variety of internal parasites.
Well-fed adult sheep, in good health and condition, can generally tolerate a low level of infestation but lambs have no resistance and can become ill and even die if they become heavily burdened.
In this section we'll cover the most common internal parasites of sheep:
- Worms
- Nematodirus
- Liver Fluke
- Clostridial diseases
