I must be REALy soft....mine still come in every night!

They are in over winter (long and cold here in the German Mountains) so used to plenty of hay At the moment the grass is just starting to grow so it suits me to hay feed indoors overnight (they stay in on wet days too to stop them ruining the field)....and Ive only got two mums each with twins.

the ewes have hardly got an udder,
our original hebs have huge udders nearly as big as the goats,
we were bringing our original hebs in just after lambing, but that was only so i could castrate them.but it did'nt work as their little balls did'nt drop,3 weeks old now & they keep hitching them back in.
ours have shelters but only the rams & the wethers use them, the ewes are tougher.  ;)
