Grass cutting
« on: June 14, 2015, 09:15:36 am »
Good morning, maybe a bit of a longshot but does anyone know of someone or someone on the forum that may be willing to cut and remove grass from a 5 acre field based very close to Gatwick, I have tried with my topper and very old Fergie 35 but its too long and makes the poor old thing grunt a bit.

Many thanks.

Can your Fergie linkage hold the topper off the ground? It may be possible to do it in two passes. It/s a method I've had to do on a number of occasions around here ..particularly reversing onto steep ridgy bits covered in rubbish and bramble.

Thanks pgkvet

Yes the Fergie will hold it up and I did think about making 2 passes, the problem is the excess grass I really wanted removed as we want to put sheep on the pasture

My 5 pet sheep have 15acres of sloping knee high lush grass and meadow flowers to wander in.. and do fine. But then i suppose they're used to it.
