Hello from South West Wales
« on: November 23, 2013, 10:46:53 pm »
Hi all,

Chris here.....I am a wannabe smallholder.
Have had chickens, sheep and pigs plus the obligatory veggie patch.
Currently restricted to a single chilli plant and making homebrew as I am in the military,
Looking to get an allotment soon.

Have lived all over the UK in my time (Bucks born and bred).

Thanks all

Chris

Hello and welcome. I'm in Caerphilly if you need any advice or fancy a visit sometime in the future. Good luck. Liz

Cheers Liz,

A visit at some point would be amazing: looks like a great set up you have there

Hi Chris and welcome

We're new to the forum, moved to Carmarthenshire this summer, so not so far away. Pretty small scale here at the mo - chickens, pheasants and a terminally cute house cat - but as I've dealt with rhinos, zebras llamas and more of the ilk in the past my toughest job now is to convince the OH that goats, geese and a few others will be a doddle!  ;D

Thank you, Victorian Farmer! The pigs are a bit muddy at the moment. Roll on spring!

Thanks so much! If you like the books, do me a big favour and drop some reviews on the Amazon site!
If you have any queries about anything in them - or just general questions about smallholding - do drop me a message.

All the best and good luck with your plans,
Liz
