Feeling sorry for myself. Months ago one of my back teeth snapped off, leaving the root and a few bits of tooth. I've been meaning to go to the dentist ever since. Had to today because I have an abscess and it huuuurrrrrtttsss.

The dentist tried to take it out but the anaesthetic didn't work fully, due to the infection in the gum so I now have antibiotics and a referral to a specialist dentist who can dig all the bits out.  :gloomy:

Admiring my new Muscovy drake. I have him separate at the moment but his fence borders with the females and its nice to see them sit next to each other even though the wire separates them. I am hoping for an easy introduction.

The ladies seem calmer and attack less than they used to since he has arrived

Collected another 30 day old chicks to raise, tho I swore I'd never do it again after the winter hassle of not being able to free range.  Fortunately I already have a buyer for 20 of them as growers, and having sold a couple of just started laying birds I remain safely under the 50 total throughout tho I still hope to sell off a few 2yo birds and some more of these in due course.

Something very rewarding about raising chicks, especially this time of year!

Checking sheep even earlier than I usually do, because yesterday we had triplets and lost 2 as they both got stuck...  :'( All fine today though, healthy twins born this morn. So far 18-19 ewes have lambed, vast majority are ewe lambs  :excited: Going to be resting now after a busy morning of rearranging stock, buildings and cleaning everywhere... Tired now. Thinking may catch up with some friends in a bit

Serviced the old tractor, easy to get all the parts from, the oil , it seems that old fashioned mineral oil is getting scarcer in favour of yer super wonderful chemiacly semi or fully synthetic lubricant.

Very stressed ou today, various reasons... One of which is that I have missed tailing some lambs and marking them, so will be running a lot today. Its the silly gorse some of them lambed in and I couldn't access it properly, so will be moving them shortly.

Final practical exams for my Remedial and Sports Massage course - all day from 830 this morning..  Last day of the course tomorrow so fingers firmly crossed that I enjoy the freedom, get on with other things and don't sign up for any more exam based training EVER again, I can't take the stress levels!

Passing my Safe Use of Pesticides assessment for weedwiper, PA2F. Assessor was very patient, i think she was in a good mood because previous candidates would have flown through.  :).
But was an amusing twist in the part one training.
