Prepping for a work trip to englandshire, sorting house and stuff so it'll survive without me...

8 days away feels like it takes that long to get organised...

Keeping an eye on a heifer of mine who is close to calving, any day soon now :excited: and arranging a time for a woman to pick up my two Buff Sussex she has bought. :)

Cleaning the chickens pen, and keeping an eye on a heifer due to calve, today me thinks. why does the day pass so slowly? ::)

Today I have cleaned out all the chicken coops, ordered Tim Tyne's sheep book at last and had the last  (  :fc: )sarcoid treatment for Hamish the Highland.
Is it time to retire yet?

looking at the corridor artwork at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary,
 many corridors many pictures . I did suggest to the porter that it might be an idea to put some on the ceiling for those of us prostrate on the trolley or even a series of cartoons linked in a way like a flip book, the nurse gave me some more sedation...........................
 I eventually escaped , as you can tell

Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

Oh yes quite fine  :-J 
 I've been scanned, x-raxed, had blood let,wired to wonderful machines , touched up by female medical staff ( in the line of duty ) had the hairs ripped off my chest for the ECG and treated to coffee by the consultant !
Best question of the day  " when did you last have alcohol ? " reply " about 10 mins ago when my arm was swabbed for the cannula " Ha ha ha ha  its the drugs y'know  and all of this free on the NHS  .
Back to work tomorrow ,I'm sure the medication will wear off overnight , and if it doesn't keep away from any blue trucks in Aberdeen tomorrow.......

Seriously for what people say the health service up here are very good ,all my appointments all joined up in to one trip, the staff kind and understanding even for an old duffer like me
