trimming goat hooves and clipping sheep and moving them up to their holiday croft til tup time  :thumbsup:
keeper of goats, sheep, pigs, ducks, chickens, turkeys, dogs, cats, goldfish and children, just don't ask me which is the most work!

Grappling with goat to hold her still while she had her hooves trimmed. One was particularly bad so I soaked it for a few minutes in warm, soapy water, which did the trick.

trying to decide if its the goat show Saturday or second lot of haylage, depends on the weather i suppose , but on the other hand I  like goat shows

Picking gooseberries - seems to be a very good year for them -  nearly 8lb off one bush.
If you cant beat 'em then at least bugger 'em about a bit.

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

Sorting through ewes post weaning, ready to go away for grazing  till tupping time.

Now enjoying my last 15 mins of peace before the children break up for the summer  :)
