I have been stuck at work in the office, although b/friend has been trying to keep our new 8 wk piglets cool in the heat (we had 34 degrees here).

Cuddling the new pigs and photographing some of the craft stuff that I have made and putting it on my Pinterest board so that my mum can see it without me having to email her pictures.
Our holding has Anglo Nubian and British Toggenburg goats, Gotland sheep, Franconian Geese, Blue Swedish ducks, a whole load of mongrel hens and two semi-feral children.

Been outside so I can keep an eye on Pom. I did a bit of hoeing so the weeds could die in the heat then sat and did some spinning. Drank about five pints of water though.

Today - like several others we stay in - BUT - all we can find to do in the house is make it warmer by blanching peas, making courgette chutney, spinach and chick pea curry, various quiches and even a s----- vake that was in the oven for over an hour. 28 in the house seems a lot cooler than outside though.
Oh - woke at 6 to plant out leeks.

Today I mainly drove, Fife to Stirling pick up friend, visit client collect money, discuss project, up A9 to fencing supplier, spent fortune, home for midday collect kids from school as holidays start here, up to farm where our sheep live to visit and take 2 trailers of hedge clippings and weeds to the dump, round to bulk materials supplier for 2 cube of bark for work tomorrow, just home, need to cook but that can wait a few minutes...

I keep ignoring this thread because I thought the title was "Today I have been manly", and I generally haven't.
