Welcome Waddy. Its never too late to join anything and if we can help to inspire you then all the better!!
Trying to decide on tonight's tea. Think it will be a small gammon steak with some pineapple (fresh) plus veggies and new potatoes for Allen to fill him up. For pudding, Ive lightly stewed some redcurrants I was given last week, with stevia which we will have with fat free fromage frais.
Going to the local market tomorrow to stock up on extra fruit and veg. I do have to be careful with Allen though as he has to limit green vegs due to the vitamin K.
Feeling confident still though, and very positive.
Well done Plums by the way, excellent loss. Im just a bit jealous!!

Thanks for the reply Bionic. How do I access the other thread to put my statistics on? Or do I need to do lots more posts to become a full member and get access.

Helen

When you've done ten posts, you become a full member so it doesn't take long.  Then you can get onto the members' page.  Good luck with your diabetes free target.  I used to swim with someone who is no longer diabetic due to the exercise and some weight loss, so it can be done.

Not brilliant with food, but not having more than 2000cals a day even when being bad.  The big news is that I finally got the bike out and pedalled up the road and back!  So, if I can do that every day, going a bit further each time I'll be really pleased.  Usually I'd try to do 5 miles in one go, feel rubbish, fat and unfit and not do it again...this time slowly slowly!

I wondered where that photo disappeared to! :roflanim: :roflanim:  No Im not QUITE that large!
Still going well, its day 5 for me, 4 for OH. Had 2 slices wholemeal toast with marmite for brekkies, I normally shy away from toast, but my friend was coming early to cut my hair. Had the remnants of last night's salad with a slice of ham for lunch, just about to have some fruit as Im peckish. I haven't decided on dinner yet, probably chicken and vegetables.

COME ON NOW FOLKS!! Spill the beans, how is everyone getting on? I fell by the wayside for a few weeks but am back on the straight and narrow with enthusiasm. I have started getting an interest in clothes all of a sudden and have bought a few bits, plus Im putting make-up on more these days which really makes me feel better about myself. I have so many clothes in my wardrobe, never worn that I am determined to get into and look great in.
Share your experiences ladies and gents, it will help us all!!

Mary, its great that you are back on the waggon and you seem to have renewed vigor. Well done.

I am doing fine. Lost 2 lbs this week making my total loss to date of 1 st 4.5 lbs. I can't believe it. My trousers were all dropping down so I have had to riffle through the old clothes looking for smaller ones.  ;D .

That is just brilliant Bionic, well done. Your loss would only scratch the surface as far as Im concerned, but any loss for me would be lovely. I think I need to lose about 3 stones before I can comfortably wear most of the clothes in my cupboard. I'd love to do it by the end of the year, cos all being well THIS time, I will have to go over to the UK to meet a new member of the family!! :fc:

I know what you mean about bread and butter it can be so moreish cant it, especially if its a fresh loaf!!! I don't drink, so I cant give that up, fizzy water is my tipple of choice, not many calories there!!
