Hope nobody minds. I've posted on the member weight loss. It may not look heavy but when my height is considered and ive put on over 7kg in 3 months, I cannot continue like this with my health problems  ::)

Brilliant - we've got 5 already.

I'm also prepared to send £1 for each LB I lose to Cancer Research - for my Mum, two Aunts, two Uncles, and my cousin - all missed, all much loved.
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

I would love to lose some, two years ago I lost 5 stones and felt brilliant, though I get really depressed and comfort eat, I have managed to put it all back on :( I like the look of this andam going to have a go, once of course I have seen the doctor to sort some issues out!

Maybe not such a bad thing huh  :roflanim:

I want to lose 2 stone in total,  preferably at the rate of a stone a week :roflanim: but more likely to be a pound a week.

MGM I have just seen your weigh-in thread. You have a great reason to loose weight. We are all behind you (providing we get an invite to the wedding)  :roflanim: :roflanim:

Ive just put all my details on the other thread, Ive even admitted my weight. The fact that I said I have to lose it by the end of September may give you a clue to why I have to do this.
Ive been so determined and Im so single minded Im sure Im going to shift it at last, plus all the wonderful support from you lot too of course. I keep looking at clothes on-line as I do love them but I can never get anything to look good on me, the thought that I may be able to wear something nice again keeps me going!

That is the perfect frame of mind Normandy, good for you. I know EXACTLY how you feel, I weighed the same as you two years ago. You'll feel so fantastic when the lbs start dropping off and your clothes get looser

Mary, well done for being brave.  I had to take a few deep breaths before admitting mine.  At my heaviest, I was nearly thre stone heavier than you.  think how great we are going to feel soon.

You have done well NormandyMary, revealing your weight when it is such a big ordeal for you.
To be honest, it's not revealing my weight  that makes me cringe ( although I am suffering for the excess )it's my height that I feel people ogle at and I cannot change that.
You can change your weight and with your frame of mind I think you will do your best to achieve your goal
I have came aboard to help my health because you and others in similar frames of mind are so committed I am in a group who will not judge. And as a whole we can help and encourage each other.
Wishing everyone good luck.
I've started cutting down and put on 0.2 kilos  But the weigh in is tuesday  :innocent:   :fc:

One of my best friends was of a similar stature to you MS, but I really didnt think anything of it, she was my friend. She was as nutty a a fruitcake which is probably why we got on so well!! I am only 5ft if I stretch, and probably now, Im around 4'11. My mum and my nana were both smaller than me, so I think we'd be good company for each other.
It is a drawback being vertically challenged, but it does mean that I can ask tallish gorgeous frenchmen to get things down from shelves in the supermarkets!! Oh and my OH is 6'2, so we probably look funny together!
