Hi all,

Im looking for advice as to which type of mixer to buy for making larger quantities of dough, I would be talking two kilos of flour at a time, we have been asked to produce bread for a local market and we usually do it by hand but when your making thirty odd breads or more it gets a bit hard on the arms.

I was looking at the Kenwood Kmix and the Kitchen aid, I know nothing about them so just wondering if any of them would be up for the job

Thanks

Bríd

I swear by kenwood but that is a personal preference Kitchen Aid have a very good reputation too.

I know kenwood still use copper wound motors and can take a hammering and still don't give up.

I always favoured a Kenwood mixer up until I needed to replace it. I was advised by the shop assistant to consider Kitchenaid. I am really pleased I took her advice but I haven't tried the dough hook out as I use a breadmaker. My vote would be for Kitchenaid  :)
