Sorry I haven't got round to working out a pattern for the flap as yet.

I started making some winter socks to see what the pattern was like and a friend has just ordered 5 pairs so a tad busy.

Have been meaning to take a photo of mine.  Busy tomorrow getting the tupping groups set up then should be free to get the camera out.  I would love to see others' too

went into attic room to my knitting bag to get started ........... :o no needles or wool and just an empty bag.....

I bought a full new set of bamboo needles and must be honest they are fantastic to knit with, so I have now ordered a full set of circular needles in bamboo as well. Ebay has very reasonable prices on these sets

I'll post as picture as soon as I've made them.  Still on matinee jacket for new granddaughter.  Found a mistake half way up which threw the whole pattern out so I had to unpick it and re knit.  >:(
