I started knitting a pair of wristwarmers last week for myself and ten pairs later I may get to keep these ones.

I made up the pattern myself (very very simple)

If anyone would like the pattern or if a non knitter they would like a pair please ask.

They are great for working with the animals on colder mornings and I'm working on a pattern for a pop over finger cover

Sounds like a brilliant idea.  I tend to push my sleeves up, as I hate them flapping around, and then my wrists get cold.  I'd love the pattern, please.

I do the same and that is why I wanted some but the shop firstly are expensive and they are sparkly wools and never seem to be what I want.

I'd love the pattern too, please! I'm looking for quick, small things to knit so that I can do them in between everything else - and so I don't get bored!

I am doing stripy ones with some ends of balls of wool. 5 rows of each colour and they look fab.

I maybe slow but I have just found bamboo needles and they are really easy to knit with

i've just been taught how to knit and i am knitting wristwarmers on bamboo needles too!!
we should compare piccies (when i've finished mine next july )

I don't knit during the summer just on the dark nights, I must get some crochet hooks and start some of that again too I used to enjoy it when I was younger

Thank you ellisr for sending me my copy  .  I will have a pair of them knitted up in no time and they will be a comfort to wear as I'm feeling a bit under the weather at the moment.  It is so kind of you to share.

If you knit them a bit longer and set the thumb hole back to 10cms they coming right up your fingers and you can fold them back when busy, just another idea on the pattern whilst I was playing.
