I think I should maybe have had another female as Lilly may find Charlie too much, there are adorable, Charlie seems to get much dirtier than Lilly but they have bonded with the Black Rocks and are now a bit aster at getting food although I have been feeding them separately by getting them into the pond and throwing stuff and also putting more pellets out when the chickens have all gone to bed, they look bigger already. I have been slug hunting so feeding them to the Ducks, they tried several time to "chew" a big black ridged one but left it in the end, they just have the green or brown ones, so my plants will be better off thanks to the Ducks. A series of photos I loved was 1 both Ducks drinking from a plastic planter, then joined by one Black Rock "Margo" hen another "Agnes" then Lilly told them off, so they went away from the water and it was just the 2 Ducks again. I am finding it very hard to work inside as I take my lunch and tea breaks into the garden, it is great, I put the hose into the pond and the water pump on, the Ex Battery are doing chicken things, Lilly and Molly asleep in the sun and the Black Rocks having dust baths, not to mention all the comings and goings of the other birds. Any guests can also see the birds from upstairs so an added entertainment...Love them to bits..thanks
