I have been watching this prog, I am also unsure what the actual prize is, I want the old couple to win, well actually by a freak of nature I want to win, lol
the only problem I have is...... Its like watching a cookery program most weeks, not enough animal care, breeding, and husbandry for me,

An immaculate house is a sign of a dull life

I liked the look of the guinea fowl, does anyone know what they taste like?

We keep Guinea Fowl. Taste is gamey. I thought the meat of the birds in the program quite pale in comparison to ours though. They are a nice bird to have on the farm but very VERY noisy.

the other couple should have gone. they maybe better at the sales side. but its hard to sell what the fox had eaten.

I missed most of the program (just couldn't be bothered with it this week), but said exactly the same thing. I think they went as the guy rubbed Jimmyboy (and no doubt the program makers) up the wrong way with his comments about the judging panel system.

--------

I wonder, as no-one had mentioned keeping fowl before, whether they were told not to as it was going to be one of the forthcoming featured topics......  Hmmm......

I think the wee dangerous looking guy with the stubble and dark eyes and his blonde missus should have got the boot. It's only a matter of time before he batters somebody. ;D Their fencing was crap, and she had no idea how to move among stock.

I missed the first half hour of it tonight...thank feck.  ::) ;D

I love your description of the wee dangerous guy  ;D ;D ;D

Bless, even I wouldn't do that, although I must say the amont of time one of our cutlery knifes is used out in the garden, handy for weeding down cracks and for digging up little worms from under stones  ;)

The would be pasta chef and his blonde other half should definately have walked yesterday - how PATHETIC to wimp out from sorting out their livestock fencing just because it was raining...

Jimmy was quiote right that the blonde one never seemed to do anything. Her partner had the ideas and did the work and she...pouted and snivelled!

Can you sell just one duck like that? Wouldn't it be lonely?
I thought the idea was sound - much like the Chicken 'starter packs' you see - but one duck? If they'd got their idea fully formed and presented it would have been better. But I didn't like them, so wouldn't have bought one from them anyway  ;D

I'd like some ducks, but I want to eat them  ;)
