Sheep trailer
« on: April 17, 2020, 10:30:07 pm »
After looking for a small sheep trailer and been unsuccessful iv decided to modify a normal 6x4 trailer,  my question is how tall dose it have to be ? Am thinking 4ft , but that's just a guess ?
Am making a lift on and off roof out of box section and alloy sheet so light weight but still strong

Hiya, our Ifor p7e has an internal height of just under four feet, so your first guess seems pretty good to me!

So iv got all the frame work built and tin sheets ordered for my roof

My question is I have a 28 inch gap to fill up the side of the trailer was going to use 6x1 timber and maybe a 2x1 at the top
How much gap do I need in between each bored if any ?

I would be a little concerned with all the screw/bolt ends sticking out as they could cause some nasty cuts.

Agreed, easy enough to cut the ends off with an angle grinder
