Teat dip and milking hygiene
« on: May 26, 2023, 12:25:20 pm »
Hello all,

For those who are milking their goats, what is your routine/what products do you use pre-post milking?
My partner worked on a dairy farm and used teisen wipes before milking and hibiscrub solution for a teat dip afterwards. But I'm wondering what products others are using and what the pros/cons are?

Many thanks

i don't use anything. (home use only though)
A dairy farmer (cattle) told me if bedding is clean. they don't need anything, unlike sloppy dairy cattle.
I may use a dry cloth just to give a gentle wipe over before milking for dust etc.
