Beginners Grow Your Own Workshop, Saturday 9th March, 10am – 2pm

Broomhill Gardens, Burntisland

Growing some of your own food is a key principle when it comes to the Fife Diet. Whether it’s a full scale allotment or a few tubs on the patio, food from your back garden has one of the lowest carbon footprints possible. We know it can be scary though, especially when you’re more used to veg coming picked, washed, and ready to chop from the local supermarket. The hardest part is often just figuring out where to start – what should I grow? When do I start planting? Does it matter what type my soil is?
