Pigs
There’s no doubt that keeping pigs is becoming more popular – especially raising a couple of weaners for the freezer. This is nothing new – many of our not so distant ancestors would have kept a pig to provide pork, bacon and sausages for the family and neighbours. However, legislation was a bit more relaxed then and Britain less built-up.
Raising a couple of weaners isn’t hugely difficult but you must do your research and go into it with your eyes open. Our pig guides and articles will help you to do that.
