our first pigs
« on: July 24, 2008, 06:09:27 pm »
We have just had our 2 new pigs, one large black and one tamworth delivered along with their new arc. I dont think there is going to be much work done for the rest of today. They are both about 3 or 4 months old and weigh about 20kg each. They look very happy in their new paddock and have already set about the bracken in it.

They are so cute - doing what pigs do best! I love the Large Black.

Oh they're gorgeous. I can just about remember when our two were that size. Congratulations!

Great to hear from you Pebbles. I keep missing you at Ardunan, you are both welcome anytime. We have just moved the Black rocks and the Scoys Greys up to the Chicken Hilton next door to the pigs who appear to have been named Fred & Ginger.
