I seriously couldn't find any more pruners so I had to turn the compost to find the ones I buried the other day  >:(

Spent the day shopping for gifts to give to my friend, which am staying with this weekend. Will be great to see them after such a long time :excited: Bad news is I need to make an appointment with the dentist asap, as my filling has cracked and is super sensitive :rant:

re-pointing the steading ,using my new pointing gun thingy that I saw mentioned on here, works a treat ,but the mozzies are about even 25ft up

driving our tractor for the first time. Figured out how to get the draw bar attached, hook up the roller and roll the fields. On the very last turn before heading back to the barn, I discovered that the corner of the field that was supposedly drying out, wasn't. Spent an hour trying to dig it out before calling our neighbour who kindly brought his big 4WD tractor over and pulled our little 135 out in seconds. He said 'Don't worry, I've had just about every neighbour help get my tractors out of a stuck over the years.'

Attacking brambles in our field so that we can check the fence behind them so we can get sheep.

Also clearing years worth of ivy from the fruit trees.

This week I have been mostly recladding a barn for a client.

The process was much hampered by the 4 inch nail through my foot last Friday, which has made ladder work very uncomfortable.

Next week improving a hay barn. Then it's holiday time, can't wait...

clearing the hedgerow at the top of the hill to put new fencing for the sheep and goats

and today, cutting the grass in the orchard, ……plus 100 other things  ;D loving it :thumbsup:

Our holding has Anglo Nubian and British Toggenburg goats, Gotland sheep, Franconian Geese, Blue Swedish ducks, a whole load of mongrel hens and two semi-feral children.
