Fingers crossed for you too and I'll let you know how things go.

Harry is being particularly difficult at the moment.  I don't know if its a reaction to the Cranial Osteopathy or 'cause he has Spring fever or what.  Lets hope next week will be better.

LOL! Think it must be spring fever - it's affecting Kaitlin too  :-\
She lovingly presented me with a box of chocolates for mother's day yesterday, then while i was in the bath, broke into the bedroom, nicked them and procceeded to share them with her sister. Still, at least she's learning about sharing  ::) ;D

Give me their numbers and I'll phone them for you. ::) ::) ::) ::)

Come on girls this has gone on long enough. You need help with these kids and you are entitled to it.  You pay your taxes same as me or anyone else.  Keep nagging if that is what it takes.  We're all behind you here.  Tell them Granny TAS will be onto them if they don't pull the finger out! ;D ;D

If you've not had an appointment for your referral,  go back to your GP and request he refers you again!
This situation has went on long enough for you and happyhippy! You need to "get balls" when dealing with some of these specialists. You need to keep this in the mind of your GP!
I got the buck passed several times before I finally saw specialists and got the help that jack needed!

I've got another appointment on Wednesday for a different Doctor that everyone tells me is more dynamic.  The one I saw previously is a little laid back whereas the one I am seeing Wednesday has a reputation for getting things done.  Wish I had known this earlier!

Ok the Doctor is going to put it through as an urgent referral as I told him Harry is a liability near roads and soils himself at school - which is all true, but it didn't half help to get taken seriously!!

I've also left a message with the school office to ask the Head to phone me so I can request an Ed Psych to assess him in school.

Ooo I've got all assertive today - feels great! ;D

Good for you, hope you won't have to wait much longer. Isn't it a shame that you have to work yourself up in to a state to get something to happen? Fingers crossed. :)

Good!!

You need to start, if you haven't, writing things down that Harry does. Things that other kids don't, wee things that you think are "just harry".
Even if you think it's daft, write it, it may be important!!
Maybe try and get your head teacher to write a wee report about harry at school too.

I found this part really hard as it lists your childs faults and shows how bad things are!!

Help should be on the way soon!
