What beautiful things!  I would be so very tempted if my timeline were sooner, but I don't think I'm likely to have a place to put them until January.  Really gorgeous.

Where are you based again? I've a couple of friends who'd be very interested but are in Lincolnshire.

Thanks all  -   I never really got up to speed with the social networking thing, so if anyone is and can post a link that would be great

There are another 300+ lots of field gates, stock feeders, water troughs, horse tack, garden tools old furniture etc that are just being sold on the day and wont be catalogued so it will be worth coming along.

It is literally everything I and my family have owned over the years.  I am keeping about 3 saucepans a frying pan some plates and cup and cutlery and thats about it.

I don't think there will be many more of this type of sale in the future so it might be worth a look if you are into auctions

They have put a lovey marquee over the front courtyard including the fountain.  I would be wonderful for a party but to be honest I am just too worn out to even consider entertaining - its not helped by the fact that all the auction staff went down one after another with a horrid cold, and now they are gone they have left it with me :roflanim:

Its just as well that we live so far away  ;D
That is quite a stunning collection of lovely items that you have.
I love the forcing pots and the concrete urns.
I can only guess at what other delights are available on the day, un-catalogued.

All the very best for the day.

By the way - I am in Worcestershire.  The sale will be at The Grange WR6 5AG

Anything which is sold via the online catalogue I think the auctioneers will arrange for carriage, perhaps speak to them Mon - I did promise that once they had photoed and catalogued I wouldnt sell anything so I will keep to my word.

I bought the bath as I was just about to start a total revamp on the house - it was last done 25 years ago, then having lost my mother I suddenly decided I would take the opportunity to travel and it was never used.  There is another cast iron slipper bath with ball and claw feet still shrink wrapped on its pallet and a hand carved marble fireplace still in its crate.

The auctioneers are Howard Pugh

Yes - anything in the online catalogue you can either leave a bid online or actually bid live during the auction
