Does anyone make grape juice?  I have been offered the grapes off a friend's vine and have access to a hydraulic press and pasteuriser.  I understand that you need to add something to pressed apple juice to clear it before bottling - is the same true for grape juice?  Any advice welcome.

Have a look at steam activated charcoal powder being used as clearing agent / filter bed .

Best off to add an equal quantity of sugar, a couple teaspoons of yeast and top of with water at about 1.5gallon per pound of fruit. the leave to "clear" for 6 months or so.... :stir:  :D
