More from North Wales
« on: September 17, 2013, 09:38:15 pm »
Hi All
We have recently moved to North Wales (near Mold) from Oxfordshire to be closer to grandparents and family. We have also ended up inheriting 6 chickens and looking after 5 calves so all advice gratefully recieved!!.
I have browsed Tas for ages before the move and have finally got round to registration. looking forward to being part of the community. Thanks

Welcome from down here below you in South Wales
Linda

Don't wrestle with pigs, they will love it and you will just get all muddy.

Let go of who you are and become who you are meant to be.

Hi  and welcome
We are also not far from Mold and have chickens, cattle, sheep. pigs (sometimes) and horses.
We are planning a north Wales smallholders meet on 28th Septmeber at the Berwyn Arms (between Llan and corwen) if you wanted to come along and meet some like minded people!
Maybe someone more technically minded than me could add a link to the right thread??

Hi - welcome aboard

We are in Llay but I work at Farm & Pet in Mold. Call in and have a chat during the week if you can - ask for Mark.

I shall be at the meeting on the 28th at the Berwyn arms and you are most welcome to come along (about 1pm I think).

Hens and veg/fruit, home made jams and chutneys etc, apples juices and an old Land Rover. Would love to learn/do more.

Take care
