Has anyone watched the video? From a female perspective ...
What woman would enter a field, with sheep in it, on her wedding day, in a wedding dress?

I would say a woman who wants a piece of land costing about £7k
my mrs wanted more than that so used a kayak  :roflanim:

I suppose my thoughts about this are similar to everyone else's, but it wouldn't be the first time that I have rushed into doing something thinking it's a good idea and not really thought about the implications, so I don't really feel I can be too harsh. You can see he joined in Sept 2012 so did not just join to pull a scam. He might be just a bit embarrassed and lying low, and not wanting to face up to any more hostility and sarcasm. He won't be in any doubt now anyway about the ideas of hard work and self-reliance that are required for small-holding, though one would have thought that going onto this forum and reading the posts for a while would have told him this. He will get there if he wants to enough, but he won't if he gets put off by a bit of good-natured abuse. Good luck to you anyway, if you are still reading!  :)

Well the OP did sat "don't laugh too much". I took it as humour more than a serious ask. :-\

And you never know - there might be enough suckers of FB to have enabled him/her to fulfill their dreams

Maybe we are being a little to harsh, after all , he is only asking, unlike our governments who take without asking  :roflanim:

I see no problem with having a dream, and if someone is rich enough to spare a few bob then best of luck to the lad, personally i think its better to struggle to buy what you want , at least then its not a throw away thing if you get bored with it,

I have many things on my want list, some i will never get, we may even settle for 2nd best when it comes to the smallholding, but with some hard work and a bit of saving, i can make it much better than what it is..and that will be good enough
