He is starting to play with our fingers!!    and loves his tummy tickling!!     We are so flippin attached now    I refuse to lose him at this stage.  Don't care is he keeps me up all night playing if thats what it takes.  He has a purr on him like a pneumatic drill and his little claws have developed some substance to them when pummelling!!    Fingers crossed all continues well in the Mouse camp.  Thanks all for your support and interest.  Much appreciated.

They really are awww moments. You must be so attached to him now.  How long before you think he is out of danger?

Still have a few hurdles to leap yet Bionic.  He is still on the antibiotics (a week today) so asking the vet today how much longer he needs to stay on them (seeing vet with dog this afternoon).  Taking him off them will be a trying time.  Also weaning off the milk may be a precarious time.  A good few weeks yet before we can relax, I think.  We have the golden nugget problem again so he has had liquid paraffin this morning.  Awaiting the results (hopefully on daughter's shift )!!!

Quick update - Mouse is still thriving albeit a tad constipated     He has cut some teeth.  He is awake and playing more so now has a play box as well as his sleep box.  Now responding to our voices with mewing and sits and watches us if we are near his box.  He sleeps a bit longer overnight - I only had to wake for one feed last night  .  Vet says keep on AB's for another week. 
Alls well in the Mouse camp!
