dont forget that hot water will freeze faster than cold water when your sorting your stock out.

You know - I've known that for a long time - and never quite understood it...  ??? After all, we use hot water to defrost frozen water - only for it then to freeze up even faster again? Argh! Wish I'd paid more attention at school!  :D

The outside tap here freezes up at the slightest hint of cold (I need to wrap pipes in bubblewrap or something?) anyway...as a result, I end up taking indoor water all the way up the hills to the goat paddocks. They love it warm but this explains why I end up doing it a few times a day  ;)
